Refund Policy

We want every gift to the Land Acquisition Appeal to be one you are happy with. If something has gone wrong, we will put it right.
Mistakes and duplicate payments
If you gave the wrong amount, paid twice, or donated by mistake, contact us within 30 days of your donation at Contact@shreejagannatha.uk. Please include your donation ID or bank reference. We will refund the payment in full to the original payment method, normally within 10 working days of agreeing the refund.
After 30 days
Because appeal funds are committed to the land purchase, refunds requested after 30 days are at the discretion of the SJSUK trustees. We will consider every request fairly and explain our decision.
Unauthorised payments
If you believe a donation was made without your permission, contact us and your bank or PayPal straight away. We will cooperate fully.
Gift Aid
If we refund a donation on which Gift Aid was claimed, we will repay that Gift Aid to HMRC. A refunded donation is removed from the campaign total.
What we record
For our accounts and audit, a refunded donation stays in our records marked as refunded, with the date and reason. It is never shown publicly.
