Gift Aid
Gift Aid lets Shree Jagannatha Society UK (Registered Charity No. 1191544) reclaim basic-rate tax on your donation from HMRC, an extra 25p for every 拢1 you give, at no cost to you.
Can I add Gift Aid?
- You must be a UK taxpayer, and pay at least as much Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the tax year as all charities and community amateur sports clubs will reclaim on your gifts.
- The donation must be your own money, not a company鈥檚, not money collected from other people, and not in return for goods or services.
- It is entirely optional. It is never pre-selected on our donation form.

The declaration you make
I want to Gift Aid my donation of this donation to Shree Jagannatha Society UK. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
Please tell us if you want to cancel your declaration, change your name or home address, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.
If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
