Jagannatha meditation
Jagannatha meditation, centered on the divine form of Lord Jagannatha, evokes a profound sense of calm and inner stillness. As practitioners focus on the deity’s wide, compassionate eyes and serene smile, the mind gradually detaches from worldly distractions and enters a tranquil state. The rhythmic chanting of sacred mantras, often accompanying the meditation, harmonizes the breath and thoughts, deepening the sense of peace. This practice nurtures emotional balance, fosters spiritual connection, and provides a refuge from the stress and noise of daily life, allowing the meditator to experience a deep, abiding calm rooted in devotion and surrender.
Our Guruji's Saying
“This temple is not just a structure of stone, but a sanctuary of the soul. It will inspire seva, satsang, and spiritual awakening in the hearts of all who visit, bringing people together in peace and divine love.”
Pujya Swami Chidananda Saraswati, Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh
“The temple in the UK will be an extension of Shri Jagannatha Mahaprabhu’s divine presence. It will strengthen the spiritual and cultural identity of Odias and devotees worldwide, becoming a symbol of unity, devotion, and global harmony.”
H.H. Gajapati Maharaja Shri Dibyasingha Deb, King of Puri
“Establishing a Jagannatha Temple in the UK is a sacred and timely initiative. It will serve as a beacon of Sanatan Dharma, guiding devotees on the path of righteousness and preserving our rich spiritual heritage abroad.”
